Home of OpenZone - The Open Source Laser Tag Project

Welcome! This site will be home base for a laser tag game that will be totally open source: hardware, software, instructions, etc. All open, all free, all GPL.

We are in the beginning stages of planing and design for this project - some ideas, docs and code is available from the xZone Project. xZone was my closed source attempt at getting a laser tag system working. I found some success, but decided that the world didn't need yet another closed protocol. So, OpenZone was born.
